Fátima

Santuário de Fátima:

 

Situada a 125 km de Lisboa, A cidade de Fátima ficou conhecida mundialmente devido ao relato das aparições da Virgem Maria reportadas por três pastorinhos (Lúcia dos Santos e os seus primos, Francisco e Jacinta Marto) em 13 de maio de 1917.

​

Nossa Senhora de Fátima Trouxe uma mensagem : um apelo à oração, ao sacrifício e à penitência. Foi solicitado aos pastorinhos que anunciassem a todos a necessidade constante de rezar o terço, pela conversão dos pecadores, pela conversão da Rússia e pelo Papa. Nossa Senhora revelou-lhes, ainda, o chamado "Segredo de Fátima", o qual foi dividido em três partes: Primeira parte foi a visão do inferno onde os pecadores caíam pela sua falta de fé, a segunda parte foi o anúncio do começo de uma nova guerra mundial, e a terceira parte do segredo foi escrita pela vidente Irmã Lúcia em 1944.
Devido ao Santuário de Nossa Senhora de Fátima, a cidade tornou-se num dos mais importantes destinos internacionais de turismo religioso.

 

Óbidos

Situada a 100 Km de Lisboa, Óbidos, a "Vila Medieval", também é um espaço urbano do Renascimento e do Barroco. Óbidos é uma vila portuguesa  considerada pela UNESCO  em  11 de Dezembro de 2015 como Cidade Literária,ao contrário do que se possa pensar, o nome Óbidos não deriva da parónima óbitos, mas sim do termo latino ópido, significando «cidadela», «cidade fortificada».
Possui um Castelo (Castelo de Óbidos), e é uma das 7 maravilhas de Portugal. Ao visitar a cidade, não podemos deixar de provar a verdadeira Ginginha de Óbidos.

Mosteiro da Batalha

O Mosteiro de Santa Maria da Vitória, também designado Mosteiro da Batalha é, indiscutivelmente, uma das mais belas obras da arquitetura portuguesa e europeia.Situado na vila de Batalha, foi mandado edificar em 1386 por D.João I como agradecimento à Virgem Maria pela vitória na Batalha de Aljubarrota. É considerado património mundial pela UNESCO, e em 7 de Julho de 2007 foi eleito como uma das sete maravilhas de Portugal e como Monumento Nacional, desde 1910.

Fátima

Located 125 km from Lisbon, the city of Fátima became known worldwide due to the report of apparitions of the Virgin Mary reported by three shepherd children (Lúcia dos Santos and their cousins, Francisco and Jacinta Marto) on May 13, 1917.
Our Lady of Fatima brought a message: an appeal to prayer, to sacrifice and to penance. The shepherds were asked to announce to all : the constant need to pray the rosary, for the conversion of sinners, for the conversion of Russia and for the Pope.
Our Lady also revealed to them the so-called "Secret of Fatima", which was divided into three parts: First part was the vision of hell,where sinners fell for their lack of faith, the second part was the announcement of the beginning of a" new world war", and the third part of the secret was written by  Sister Lucy in 1944. Due to the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, the city has become one of the most important international  destination for religious tourism.

 

Óbidos

Located 100 km from Lisbon, Óbidos, the "Medieval Village", is also an urban space of the Renaissance and the Baroque. Óbidos is a Portuguese village considered by UNESCO on December 11, 2015 as Literary City, contrary to what one might think, the name Óbidos does not derive from the death term, but rather from the Latin term opto, meaning "citadel",  wich means"fortified city '.

The construction of Óbidos castle began in the mid 1st century, when Romans ruled the world. However, it was during the Moors occupation that the castle developed and at the same time the fortress was created. Óbidos Castle, is one of the 7 wonders of Portugal.
Aside from the castle, you should definitely stroll through the streets of the village inside the walls. Óbidos village is full tourists but it will be worth your while. You’ll have the opportunity to know one of Europe´s most romantic village.

Mosteiro da Batalha

​

The Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitoria, also called the Monastery of Batalha, is one of the most beautiful Portuguese and European architecture masterpieces. Located in the town of Batalha, it was built in 1386 by D.João I, to thank Virgin Mary for his triumph in Aljubarrota (1385) over the Kingdom of Castile (a region from the present Spain). It is considered a World Heritage by UNESCO since July 7, 2007. Also  was elected as one of the seven wonders of Portugal and as National Monument since 1910.
